How It Works

Patented Gas Recoil System

CO2 Gas Reservoir

25cc integrated in slide. 850 PSI operating pressure. 22-36 shots per fill depending on recoil setting. Standard paintball adapter refill.

400g Steel Reciprocating Mass

Internal steel bolt rides on guide rails inside fixed polymer shell. External slide stays still (Japan legal). Internal mass delivers real 9mm impulse.

4-Layer Sound Suppression

Expansion chamber + Progressive-release gas valve + Exhaust baffles + Rubber buffer. Result: <70 dB at source, <40 dB through walls.

Firing Cycle (Step by Step)

1.Trigger pull actuates the gas valve linkage (replicates Glock striker-fired feel — 5.5 lb pull, take-up/wall/break)
2.Progressive gas valve opens over 15-20ms (not snap-open — this shapes the impulse curve and reduces peak noise)
3.CO2 expands from 25cc reservoir (850 PSI) through the expansion chamber
4.Gas drives the piston which pushes the 400g steel reciprocating mass rearward at ~5-8 m/s
5.RECOIL IMPULSE DELIVERED — 3.28 N·s matching real 9mm (mass hits polyurethane rear buffer, no metal-on-metal)
6.Dual captive return spring returns mass forward (~0.05 sec cycle, matches Glock slide return speed)
7.Trigger resets (driven by mass return, same as real Glock slide cycling)
8.Spent CO2 exhausts through 4 baffles → small downward-facing ports (away from shooter's ears)

Key Innovation #1: Fixed Shell / Moving Mass

External polymer slide NEVER moves. The 400g steel mass reciprocates INSIDE the fixed shell. This is why it's Japan-legal (polymer exterior) while delivering real recoil (internal steel).

Key Innovation #2: Progressive Gas Valve

Unlike competitors that use snap-open valves (needed to propel BBs), ReCOIL Pro's valve opens gradually over 15-20ms. Same total impulse, but peak sound is dramatically lower. Patent candidate.

Key Innovation #3: Adjustable Regulator

Rotary dial on frame restricts gas flow. Low = 60% recoil (~58 dB, 36 shots). Medium = 80% (~64 dB). Full = 100% of real 9mm (~70 dB, 22 shots). No electronics.
